Examination Criteria

Microstation MS02-001 3D Level 1

Objective:

To test your 3D solid drawing ability and speed by creating the solid in Microstation CAD software, and complete the 2D part drawing.

Resources:

You will need a Pentium 4 class computer with Microstation PowerDraft software. Titleblocks are provided.

Time:

You have 30 minutes to complete the problem.

Success Criteria:

You must be able to draw the solid in Microstation PowerDraft and complete the 2D part drawing within 30 minutes. Finish in 15 minutes for a one hundred percent score, to 30 minutes for a eighty-five percent score. You will lose one percent for every minute exceeding 15. You will lose one percent for every error. Passing score is a 85%.

Training Plan:

Work through chapters one through eleven, and chapters fifteen and sixteen of the World Class CAD, Advancing with 3D CAD textbook. You may do as many practice problems as you wish.
